India on Tuesday set their place in the Cricket World Cup semi-finals with a 28-run victory over Bangladesh at Edgbaston.
With the win, the former champions of India twice were
included in the last four, while this result also ended the blurry expectations
of Bangladesh for the knockout stage. Rohit Sharma scored a century in the
second consecutive match.![jasprit bumrah #TeamIndia jasprit bumrah #TeamIndia](https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_banners/287117871/1562092773/600x200)
Sharma played a 104-run knock which is his fourth century in the World Cup, despite the Mustafizur Rahman's 5-59,
helped India score 314-9. This innings of Lions proved to
be very much for Tigers, who, after two overs, India won by 286 runs,
Jaspreet Bumrah scored 4 for 55 from India.
